Kids Playing at the Outdoor Free Family Playground. Homestead Kids take a day off and go to a local park to play at the free playground. Kids of all ages love to play on the fun equipment at the play ground. This is a local park provided free in the area. We have never been here to play before. Mattie told us about it so we took the kids there to play. It seems that Mattie and Mountry have not yet grown up either. That is a good thing :) The kids had a lot of fun spinning on the equipment there. One was their favorite. It would spin very quickly if the person riding it sat well centered. The kids all became very dizzy from spinning and whirling so much! The swing sets were also a big hit also. The kids love to swing on the swings! Soon they were on another spinning type of swing for another go round. The monkey bars are always loved by kids. They love to climb on the monkey bars to swing by hand from loop to loop. Skyler found that the slides were too hot for him to sit on so he decided not to play on the slides that were on the sunny side of the park equipment. The park was nice and quiet with the exception of one other family who soon left saying it was too extremely hot to be outdoors. (Personally, we felt it was beautiful weather in the mid-80's and not extreme heat at all) There was no seesaw or merry go round here at this park. But there was plenty of other fun playground equipment to keep the kids busy! All in all, a well deserved play day :)
